about
As of finishing this track, Theo declared that his back 'kinda hurt' from all the intense bending down over the screen.
We started this track not knowing shit about what we wanted to achieve, but by messing around with a few synths and turning some knobs for a while we were able to create a sound that we very much enjoyed.
This track is somewhat reminiscent of the early 80's due to the lead melody (Theo has his doubts about this, I'll fact-check it later if I remember to do so) but also has a pleasantly creepy vibe to it which makes the whole piece quite... [Theo, how would you say this?] ...odd yet awesome, with slight hints of Temple of Time-style vocals (from Zelda games).
Because of all this, we chose to call it Wireframe Temple.
The album art was tricky to make, since I wanted to stay true to the wireframe 3D feel suggested by the title, so I tried to make the artwork as close as possible to a now almost stereotypical 80's 3D rendering.
I like it :)
